Trackside
Terms
Last updated October 19, 2026
iOS App
The Trackside iOS app is licensed under Apple's Standard End User License Agreement. App Store purchases and subscriptions remain subject to Apple's applicable terms.
Connected Assistants
These terms cover Trackside's connected-assistant service, including the Trackside plugin for ChatGPT and Codex and access through other MCP clients. By connecting an assistant to Trackside, you agree to these service terms.
Account and access
Use your own Trackside account or an account you are authorized to use. Normal account access requires Sign in with Apple, an eligible Trackside Pro entitlement, and MCP Server enabled in the iOS app. You choose whether to upload recordings and separately authorize each assistant connection. The dedicated reviewer account is limited to fictional sample data.
What the service does
The service provides read-only access to completed, synced recordings and their available telemetry files. It does not control a vehicle, start a recording, edit or delete recordings, share recordings with friends, or create new Trackside coaching reports. Pending uploads and recordings excluded from synchronization may not appear.
Your recordings and permissions
You retain your rights in recordings and other content you provide. You authorize Trackside and its hosting providers to store and process the uploaded files to operate this service, and to return requested data to assistants you authorize. Upload only information you have permission to use. Your choices, recipients, retention, and deletion controls are described in the Trackside privacy policy.
Use safely and verify results
Recording sources can contain missing or inaccurate signals, and AI-generated interpretations can be wrong. Verify findings against your original recordings before relying on them. This service is for reviewing driving data; it is not a vehicle-control or safety system. Do not interact with an assistant while driving, and do not use the service to encourage unsafe or unlawful driving.
Acceptable use and security
Do not attempt to access another account's private data, bypass authentication or subscription checks, compromise the service, evade usage limits, or upload data unlawfully. Keep account credentials and authorization tokens private. We may limit or suspend access to address misuse, security concerns, or service requirements.
Availability and third-party services
Availability depends on completed uploads, connectivity, your eligibility, and the assistant provider. Features and limits may change, and uninterrupted availability or complete results are not guaranteed. Third-party assistants operate under their own terms and privacy settings. The plugin does not initiate purchases or subscriptions; App Store purchases and the iOS app remain subject to their applicable separate terms.
Disconnecting and changes
You can disconnect an assistant or disable MCP in Trackside Settings > Account Data. Account and recording deletion controls are described in the privacy policy. Revoking access prevents future reads; it does not remove responses already retained by an assistant provider. We may revise these terms and will update the date on this page. Where additional notice is required, we will provide it.
